The Greater Imagination is God's!

The Greater Imagination is God's! We exist, because He exists! Because, we are His creation, there is no way for us to realize His beginning. We are essentially, a part of His greatness... how could a person inside something (any kind of object or environment) so great in detail and immense space be able to understand, let alone comprehend anything outside of that. What would be purpose in that be? You may respond - to know. Yet, being part of His imagination, we already know.If we suppose that, we could conclude then there would be no desire to know the creator. What or who creates this desire in us to further pursue what we already know. God creates this desire in us because He wants to have a relationship with us; this desire to pursue what we already know allows for / provides a means for a relationship with the Creator and our Savior Lord Jesus Christ.

Imagine that we are a computer program. Being an intelligent creation, we would desire to know the creator, to be nearer to that or whom created us. It would become a pursuit, an unguided program self willed and in saying that God inspired as He gave free will.

What is Reality and Whose It Is?

A lot of people today have a problem with reality because they have fallen out of the only reality that exists- the reality that we live in God's imagination. Just by being, recognizing that we exist is acknowledging that we exist because God exists. He is the great imagination! Refusing to accept this is way falling away from that great reality and moreover falling away from social reality. Harvard Professor Willard Van Orman Quine wrote a book called Word and Object. It was published by MIT Press. In that work, he states that a sentence by itself has no meaning. It is only understood in context of something greater.
We exist, because He exists... we can imagine, because He imagines!

Regaining Our Social Imagination's Loss of Spirituality

Thomas Mann in his book "Magic Mountain" wrote that we are really losing our spiritual self by giving in to the natural self which only leads to a dead end. Before, I tell you the excerpt that Mann provides us with such great wisdom I want to give a practical example of this losing our spiritual self. Just this morning, I was watching the last segment of an episode of Little House on the Prairie, the girls made a mistake and Pa told them that they had to face their mistake alone and be bold about it facing the consequences. They went to the pastor and confessed their mistake and the pastor wisely turned their mistake into a lesson for the whole community. That was TV in America, inspiring, aspiring, reflecting a nation which still held fast to its spiritual nature. So, back to Mann, ... He asks why have we given the Platonic philosophy the preference over every other, if not because it has to do with knowledge of God and not knowledge of nature? Let me assure you that mankind is about to find its way back to this point of view. Mankind will soon perceive that it is not the task of true science to run after godless understanding; but to reject utterly all that which is harmful, yes, even all that ideally speaking is without significance, in favor of instinct, measure, and choice. It is childish to accuse the Church of having defended darkness rather than light. She did well, and thrice well to chastise as unlawful all unconditioned striving after the 'pure' knowledge of things which striving, that is as is without reference to the spiritual without bearing on man's salvation; for it is this unconditioned , this a-philosophical natural science that always has led and ever will lead men into darkness. Information Exchange - Words in the Social Imagination

Information exchange in the social imagination is our social reality. All that happens to us, happens through the exchange of information; the good, the bad and ugly. If we relied on man's social imagination, we would be limited and framed by a lot of misinformation. Thankfully, we understand that "through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that thing which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:3
Information is the communication of words. We in our social environment exchange words which create our world. If we want to overcome the world as we find it, we must choose our words wisely and when we do, we find ourselves in the best information system - God's imagination.
One of many examples of the importance of information exchange 'words and word order' comes to us in Numbers 30:1-31:54.  We can read the regulations the Lord gave Moses concerning relationships between a man and his wife, and between a father and a young daughter who still lives at home. We are being told about the exchange of information, communication which is about words, word order in the form of vows and pledges, and when they are said 'sent' and heard 'received'. You see, words having meaning and they cannot and should not be taken lightly. This was good advice in the past (old testament) and it is still good advice in the present and will be for the future.

Comment which was accepted but not posted by this site -  Interesting that Paul calls faith evidence. Most people think of faith as mere hope or belief. But That's because most people don't think that belief has substance. Yet we know from our daily lives that belief plays an important part in the things we say and do. if I have faith I can do something, there's good chance I can and will. Now, you take what God says is true, have faith in it and then you see what he says actually happen. Adding faith to fact makes it manifest. Joseph Prince calls this "right believing". Wrong believing leads to failure. Right believing leads to success. So like Paul says, faith in what God says actually becomes the evidence of something rightly believed in and actually makes it become manifest in our experience. Kinda like adding water to freeze-dried food makes it edible. Adding faith to fact makes it happen. on Faith in the Social Imagination

Faith in the Social Imagination

Faith in the Social Imagination

People of faith know what that word means, and interestingly so do people of little or no faith.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for (Heb. 11:1) Hope is important, but hope lacks substance until filled with faith. Hope is only a goal-setter. You can hope to have something or to be prosperous or healthy, but it is faith that gives substance and brings about the manifestation of those things hoped for.

In these times, people all over the world in their social imagination are hoping for good news, good jobs, good results etc. Yet, from which world they draw their faith can and is a game changer... if they draw their faith from man's world, then only what is possible in man's world 'imagination' is possible for them. If they draw their faith from God's imagination, then all things are possible.
The worlds were framed by the word of God (Heb. 11:3) This means that all imagination was in His first and last, He is the Alpha and the Omega. Yet, because we live in a fallen state, we have difficulty seeing/knowing that God's imagination is still there and available to us by making a conscious choice to get back into His imagination. In Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." When you hope for something where does it exist? Only in your mind and heart. It is a possibility. "Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:3

Guard and build your social imagination by speaking life... when you do, you will find yourself in God's imagination.

Quantum ~ the Subatomic Arena of the Social Imagination!

In God's imagination "All things are possible to him that believeth." Mark 9:23

"Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:3

"We are in the world but not of it" John 17:16

There are an infinite number of possibilities for your life. Because, we have God given free will, we too have an imagination - a social imagination which allows for this infinite number of possibilities. We have the freedom to choose. God knows the best possible for us and is always there to direct us to it if we just listen and wait for his direction. We can put ourselves on the right dial, frequency, to hear it by reading His Word.

Ultimately, all possibles lead us to the place where God wants us, but some routes will take longer, create more baggage and more trouble than others and certainly more problems if we took the route God has for us. Is there a place where God is not? In there imagined Godless imagination. Some people are already there and will likely stay there. And, that is a dark place. Only they have the power to get out.

Embrace the reality that our imagination is His imagination, wake up (recall and repent = re think) and live in God's imagination, we are already there, just open your eyes to it.

What We Think, becomes what We Say and what We Say becomes what We Do

Matter responds to faith and words! If you don't like your life, then consider carefully what you think about yourself, what you say and what you do. Imagine what you can do to change what you think, say and do. Then try... Charles H. Cooley said that society is the locus of the mind. He said that everything happens in your mind and if you don't like what is happening to you and to your world (social reality), then only you can change it. Who was Cooley?

Cooley believed that social reality was qualitatively different from physical reality and was therefore less amenable to measurement. Because of this view, he was more productive as a social theorist than as a research scientist. His Human Nature and the Social Order (1902, reprinted 1956) discussed the determination of the self through interaction with others. Cooley theorized that the sense of self is formed in two ways: by one’s actual experiences and by what one imagines others’ ideas of oneself to be—a phenomenon Cooley called the “looking glass self.” This dual conception contributed to Cooley’s fundamental theory that the mind is social and that society is a mental construct. http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/136159/Charles-Horton-Cooley

We live in God's imagination, but because He gave us free will, we too have an imagination... like the one Cooley describes. It is social because God is social. It is when we are resisting God's imagination as first in our imagination that we stop thinking, saying and doing what is true about us and what God knows to be true about us. The way back to thinking, saying and doing what is true about us is through the Son...
